Virtually everyone attended the screening for Grouper, and I came for Clipson. Probably the film I had been most excited to see in my life, and it is most likely the best feature film I've ever seen. A journey into Paul's magnificent range of skills and techniques, and shades of other works, all combined into a total masterpiece. Grouper's soundtrack in parts is wonderful too, and makes this an experience over a film
I’ve always felt there’s a big room for filmmakers to push cinema beyond its boundary and explore the very basic nature of cinema – the relationship of images and sound – by visualizing modern music that emphasize in forming atmosphere.
