A documentary filmmaker tracks down actor/singer/songwriter Paul Williams in an attempt to find out what happened to his idol.
It's GREAT to see and experience Paul Williams, but the fucking director was insufferable. Couldn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to.
Unintentionally fascinating. Or is this some kind of avant garde performance art documentary in which the "director" sets himself up as a screen between the viewer and the "subject?" Very hard to tell.
"As a filmmaker I thought 'night vision'". Shut up Kessler, you ruined your own movie, "filmmaker"
A bittersweet film about a survivor - but one who wrote awesome songs.
