In her directorial debut, Lorene Scafaria (Hustlers) throws Keira Knightley in the mix with Steve Carell and other familiar faces from US television for an apocalypse road-trip rom-com. Nihilistic abandon elicits not only some darkly mischievous laughs, but also a surprisingly moving ending.
