Great last line "We'll have to work, get kicked around" and then they kiss. Gregg Toland is an unparalleled master at finding a way to make the look of the film coincide perfectly with the actors' performance styles. Sets are exaggerated, not so subtly suggesting the class status of the three leads. Somehow straddles the line between showy formalism and naturalism really well. Cried twice. But the music is too much.
