87 Movies Spike Lee Needs to See

Taking a break from hitting you up for money, Spike Lee took the oppurtunity to publish a list of what he considers to be the eighty-seven essential movies that every movie lover needs to see. While the list was filled with great titles, it was sadly predictable, western-centric, and just not very exciting. I am in no way more qualified to make a list of essential films, nor can I really say I can make a list that much more worldly, but I do feel somewhat qualified to recommend to Spike eighty-seven movies he should have seen before attempting his list.
