Ladies' Men

This list is of films written or directed by men that show genuine insight into or sympathy for the experiences of female characters in relation to their sexuality and experiences as women. Some display this positively, some negatively, but all have a woman with a beating heart and the full complexity of humanity thanks to the talent of woman on screen and the men behind the scenes.
