On David Grillo's Wall

Hi, David! Good to hear of your interest in Ottinger. 'Ticket of No Return' is one I haven't seen yet - where did you find the DVD?? Her films do get screened in the US - I managed to catch three of them ('Freak Orlando', 'Johanna D'Arc of Mongolia', and 'Taiga') when they were shown here in Boston 2.5 years ago. I also got 'Exil Shanghai' on VHS - I don't think it was released on DVD. Her website sells copies of her films for exorbitant prices, so it may be better to look in University libraries that have acquired them. You have a great favorites list as well; Dorsky is one filmmaker whose work I've long wanted to see but have yet to do so.
