“I had a somewhat difficult childhood. I didn't succeed in my studies and I was forced to do several jobs in the neighborhood. I started as an apprentice carpenter then a cyclist. I worked in a salt mill and did other jobs. But thanks to scouting, I discovered theater and cinema. We put on sketches. Scouting also taught me good discipline, respect for the environment, and respect for humanity in general.”
