When I shot Cocco's music video, she happily accepted my direction. Her positive attitude helped me to ask her to play a role in my movie. That's how I could start "Kotoko". Honestly, I wanted to make a movie with her for a long time. If she hadn't offered me the opportunity to make her music video, I would have never got the chance to cast her for my movie.
