Diderot's rating of the film Lili Marleen

Even a minor Fassbinder like this one has so much going for it. His characters are always fascinating creations. Lili Marleen exemplifies Fassbinder's idiosyncratic use of exaggerated color derived from his obsession with Sirk's films that he also used in Lola the same year and again for Querelle in '82. It's overlooked mostly because it's not readily available.
