Our take

Championed by Alfonso Cuarón upon release, Fernando Eimbcke’s auspicious debut belongs in the pantheon of quintessential hangout films. Transforming an ordinary city apartment into a playground of wonder and epiphany, this winsome tale of adolescent rebellion basks in the pleasure of doing nothing.
