Tony Gatlif has become renowned for bringing gypsy culture to cinema, and delivers with Transylvania another drama filled with joyful scenes of Romany celebrations, as well as moments of heartfelt drama. A dizzying road movie, it stars Asia Argento and Amira Casar as travelling buddies.
