The history of the Focus Theatre in Dublin, and of its mercurial founder Deirdre O’Connell, who introduced Method acting to Ireland in the 1960’s. A small theatre which, for more than 50 years, offered a variety of plays from new and established writers, from 1967 until its closed in 2012.
