Sankt Peter, a small village in Baden-Württemberg in the early 1950s. Gregor (Merlin Rose) and Maria (Svenja Jung) are siblings and the children of the Bach farmers. Her father is stuck to the rigid tradition that his only son has to take over the farm once.
