A far cry from his earlier provocations, master agitator Kim-Ki Duk embraces serenity in this gorgeously lensed contemplation of mortality and nature. Raptly observant and inconspicuously wise, this delicately spiritual film evokes the fleeting sorrow and beauty of existence.
