“I think what’s been most effective in horror films recently...is a documentary camera point of view which has a kind of a grittiness where people feel like they’re seeing something that has a sense of realism. But my fear is that it’s almost becoming like a sub-genre…[and] how can you put audiences there in the film and they can feel real like it’s happening to them? What other technique is there?”
