“Marcus ['Ginny and Georgia'] is me at fourteen with the angst dialed up to twelve. I was so angry and emotional and everything was the end of the world. That’s what it feels like at that age, and that’s what Marcus feels. Marcus has more complex trauma, and, as an actor you take whatever is truthful to you and bring vulnerability and resonance to the character.”
