“Given all the crazy things I’ve done in my career, it might seem strange that I think that the opera is what I’m meant to be doing, but it combines all of the elements that I love and that I’m good at. There’s dance, music, storytelling. It’s all of the things that I’ve done in my life and combines it into one form. It’s definitely the thing I was born to do. That’s my calling.”
