J.A. Seazer

'[Kunihiko Ikuhara on J.A. Seazer] J.A. Seazer was a charismatic idol of the student activists in the late 1960's. By that time, I found about J.A. Seazer when the student movement in Japan was over. Japanese avant-garde filmmaker Shūji Terayama is known for his visually striking and highly provocative works, from which Fruits of Passion is one of the most controversial. Presented at the Directors’ Fortnight in 1981, this is a sexually abrasive and disturbingly powerful tale.
