“[On Phantom Nebula] When I thought about it, I realized many things in our universe are constructed symmetrically, including our bodies and, to an extent, how trees grow. This approach of bringing symmetry into the equation provided me with new forms of abstraction. These images started to look like a nebula, which is why I gave the film its title.”
