[Tashi Gyeltshen on Tshering Euden] "Tshering Euden was the last one to audition. In Bhutan, it is very difficult to get people to act in the film, especially that kind of roles, because actors feel they can be socially stigmatized for playing a character such as Sangay. People tend to forget the different levels of reality, they do not separate fictional character from a real person. There were around 30 girls auditioning, we announced the call without specifying the plot or a role the girl would be playing. We explained the story and introduced the character only during the casting, otherwise nobody would come. There was no specific thing that caught my attention at first, but after reviewing the candidates I realized Tshering Euden was the best one."
