The least Tarantino-y Tarantino movie may also be his most pleasurable: a smooth adaptation of Elmore Leonard’s Rum Punch that finds the director at his most mature & restrained. Jackie Brown may be most notable for its unlikely pair of brilliant lead performances by Pam Grier & Robert Forster.
