Our take
A fan favorite and one of the most propulsive entries in the franchise, this closing film of the Heisei era feels like a climactic statement. With OG composer Akira Ifukube back for one last hurrah, Aliens-riffing action, and a series-topping final battle, this is a Godzilla movie for the ages.
