After finishing his degree, anti-militarist, poetry-reading Paolo Passeri finds himself in an officer training program under a strict and possibly psychotic young officer, Captain Asciutto. As Paolo slowly adapts to the military mindset, he catches the attention of the captain’s alluring wife.
