Our take

A trenchant Ken Loach looks the British justice system dead in the eye with this sinister, stomach-churning thriller. Starring powerhouse duo Brian Cox and Frances McDormand as investigators hounded into a maze of corruption, Hidden Agenda lances political hypocrisy with formidable precision.
