Kijima Katsuji (Saburo Kitajima) is a wandering yakuza in search of his mother who gave him up for adoption when he was born. He teams up with a fellow con artist named Goro and together they hustle customers in dice games. Goro asks for one more scam in Kusama City where yakuza groups have casinos.
