Lulu Smith, a librarian, takes a cruise and falls in love with Bob Grover, a lawyer. Back home, Lulu breaks with Bob when he tells her he is married to a crippled woman. But Lulu has his baby, and when Bob finds out he adopts the baby but hides her true identity from his wife.
