Our take
Far from a haven of innocence, the classroom emerges as a chilling microcosm of social injustice in Ilker Çatak’s gripping Berlinale prizewinner. A tribute to all the fierce educators who battle bureaucracy and intolerance with compassion, Leonie Benesch’s fiery performance strikes a powerful chord.
