Charles Bremer, an eccentric, wealthy, and reclusive elderly man, tries to enjoy the three things in life that he considers real beauty: collecting art, collecting flowers, and watching pretty women undress. He also reads letters he has sent to his dead mother, but they are addressed to himself.
