Beautiful, interesting, incredible cinema.
OUR ARK
Synopsis
Humans are backing up the planet, creating 3D models of animals, rainforests, cities, and people—archiving as if ecological collapse could be staved off through a digital Noah’s Ark of beasts and objects. The artists explore our efforts to create a virtual replica of the real world.

Our take
A creative contemplation of the implications of ubiquitous digitalization, this spectacular short suggests what a 21st-century Noah’s Ark might look like. An astonishing utopian vision that invites questions about the notion of the simulacra and the digital archiving of our planet.
