At just 14 years old, Yūya Yagira became the youngest person to win Best Actor in Cannes for this heartbreaking masterpiece from Hirokazu Koreeda. Unsentimental, but told with boundless empathy and compassion, Nobody Knows lowers its gaze for an unflinching, child’s-eye view of neglect and survival.
