Out of Stan Brakhage’s homonymous masterpiece, comes the title of this new list about the formal relations beetween cinema and its double, its predecessor and opponent, but deeply rooted in it and its origin: the theater. More than this: the scene, “sur scène”, the stage and the eye of a camera as staging.

I only chose films that i rated, at least, with 4 stars.

in progress.
