The Best of Wim Wenders

In the late 80s, thanks to the sublime road movie masterpieces Alice in the Cities, Paris Texas and Kings of the Road, and with the success too of Wings of Desire, I was a big Wenders fan. Then his fiction films and reputation started to decline. But in later years he has shown an aptitude for fine documentaries to compensate, and now the superb and much loved Perfect Days (2023).
