THE NEW GERMAN CINEMA (MID 60's to early 80's)

A second golden age for German cinema. Emerging from false morals, stereotypical filmmaking, and the scattered remains of the Third Reich, young filmmakers arouse each sharing a social commentary on Germany’s past (capturing both its political angst/turmoil and mysticism), contemporary values, society, and humanistic aspects on life…even going as far to worlds that do not exist.
