Our take

Attuned to the tides of time, Wang Ping-Wen and Peng Tzu-Hui’s debut film casts a sensitive gaze to the fringes of Taipei, a semi-rustic landscape seldom seen on screen. Sumptuously textured 16mm cinematography conjures the misty vapor of regrets, as an elderly man grapples with past mistakes.
