Ida, a carer for the elderly, drives from the Slovenian coast to see Albert, an old man in a wheelchair living in a large apartment in Trieste, and to do the cooking and cleaning for him and wash him. Ida is confronted with his sarcasm and cynicism, which he uses to pick on people, including her.
