Deported to Auschwitz Hélène gets to know Lili and Rose. In camp, they help each other survive, but once liberation arrives, they separate ways. Back in Paris Hélène joins the man of her life. Years later, she meets Lili again, who suggests they spend a week at Berck-sur-mer in northern France.
