Spring 1959. We meet the local residents of run down Third Street again as they strive to fulfill their dreams as Tokyo gears up for the Olympics. Ryunosuke tries to shape up and become an award-winning author while he pines for sake bar owner Hiromi, who left a year ago without saying a word.
