Gifted with an odd heritage, Akiko goes back to Japan, following her mother’s footsteps, a film star from the 70s. Among her Japanese family, she discovers an intimate land, laden with secrets, where she belongs even without her knowing. There begins a mother-daughter dialogue that goes across time.
