Franz Hofstetter is dead, and with him the last of the great patriarchs of the brewing industry is gone. Two women are competing to take over as head of the brewery. One is Franz’s second wife, Gisela, whose heart beats for the traditional art of brewing as well as for a Czech gigolo.
