Using marked cards, inexperienced hustler Jurek (Andrzej Pieczynski) challenges infamous card shark Big Shar (Jan Nowicki), but the amateur cheater loses anyway. Attempting to revive his lust for the game, the aging gambler agrees to mentor young Jurek and share his winning secrets.
