Our take
Among the most inventive, moving debuts of the 2020s, this unpredictable film replays and tries to make sense of an unstable past. Hopscotching through childhood memories, Sophy Romvari colors in her characters with incredible empathy, and experiments in beautiful ways with the technology of cinema.
