In a painting class at the Beaux-Arts of Paris, Milena comes accross the shy and gentle Chang, a Chinese student. Milena likes Chang but cultural differences bring them embarrassments and misunderstandings. Milena soon realizes that Chang is trying to change himself to adapt the French way of life.
