A tragic tale of a love-struck young man who joins a travelling circus in order to win the heart of a beautiful trapeze artist, Alice. Lord Dempsey, the circus owner and Alice’s father, disapproves of Josef’s romantic intentions towards his daughter and tries every trick to foil his attempts.
