1920’s, Latvia. Entrepreneurial Edgar Ceplis establishes a joint-stock company to produce and export clay bricks. Soon it turns out that the selected clay is not valid for export bricks. Ceplis quickly sells all the shares and decides to lie low for a time while dreaming up plans of another affair.
