Our take

A slick and stylish throwback to the rich American genre cinema of the 80s, Jim Mickle’s muscular film expresses a surprisingly tender thematic treatment on absent fathers and forgotten sons. Sam Shepard, Michael C. Hall, and Don Johnson ignite the fire in this thriller with their remarkable turns.
