In 1964 Yuwali was living a traditional lifestyle in Australia’s remote western desert. Huge space rockets from Woomera were aimed at her country and patrol officers sent in to prevent debris landing on people. They found Yuwali and her group of 20 and the ‘first contact’ was extensively filmed.
