Sooni is the daughter of a strolling entertainer. After her mother abandons her in the forest, Sooni is found and raised by a mountain dweller. The woman’s son, Dori, and Sooni grow fond of each other and become engaged. Misfortune begins when forest keeper Mr. Kim sets his eyes on Sooni.
