Based on the novel “My Uncle Benjamin”, the story is set in a small Georgian town at the end of the 19th century. The young Dr. Benjamin s leading a bohemian life much to the dismay of his sister, who is trying to arrange a marriage for him to the daughter of an older doctor from the town.
