Embalmer Miyaki Murakami is called to treat the body of Yoshiko Shindo after he jumps from a rooftop, apparently in a suicide. But she receives a warning from a priest that what she is doing is evil. This takes Miyaki into a mystery where the answer holds the truth about mysteries from her own past.
